With the leaves piling up it was time to repeatedly ride some less-used sections of trail to mash down said leaves and keep the trail open and obvious. Also picked up any stick/branch thicker than an OG's thumb, of which there were many. So it was a lot of stop and start and back and forth, especially in the first 3 miles or so. Rode the hardtail today because why not; most of these trails are not terribly rough (though the roots hiding in the leaves were interesting). EXTREMELY windy day and perhaps maybe too windy to be safely in the woods ... don't want anything heavy falling on you. But it wasn't cold; temps in the upper 50s even with the strong west wind. Nothing to report fitness-wise, all good. Hardtail is fun to ride as an alternative to the full-squish. Both are great in their own way. Gotta keep doing that from time to time.
