I only went over 30KM but it felt like I had done 80 - it really did . I was exausted maybe old age setting in . I was at a "Do" in P&Cs' house yesterday Saturday , which was great , to see all the family , but all the Murphys have become so old . Depressing but we are all still there . Back to the cycle - it was a cutting wind which became a bit worse as you went upwards and the traffic was really awful . Beside the Massey Estate there is Timbertrove , a cafe , but there were about 10 cars queing up to go in for something to eat . So it shows how awful the traffic was . Maybe it would have been better to go on this cycle during the week but the weather. I must admit that I did walk a lot of this and it was fairly strenuous , so I took my time . It is the first time I was really up the mountains this year . I had intended to go as far as Glencree but I had not really got the energy , so I turned left just after the car park and came home - nice cuppa in Templeogue .
