AL-GA-2019-Day-2

I got a lazy start after a decent night's sleep, and paid for it by having to ride through the heat of the day which was considerable. Didn't really feel good most of the day and decided to shortcut the Skyway to Bulls Gap and take Horn Valley road. I camped near the southern end of the Talladega national forest in a random spot not far from a little stream. It was rather badly infested with mosquitoes and so I couldn't really enjoy much time outside my tent, and inside the tent was pretty hot. So I suffered for a few hours and passed the time listening to podcasts and eating. I eventually got some ok sleep despite the heat and my being bothered by some loud bird calling near me most of the night.
