I discovered that B + D = P^2 where B = Bob, D = Doug and P = Pain. Today it was just Bob, Sonny and I, no Doug so I thought it would be a fairly relaxed ride. But then Sonny threw in a time constraint. Need to to some more work on the equation.
Still, it was a beautiful day with nearly perfect conditions. We had a bit of a headwind on the way home. Bob tried to sneak attack me a couple times on some short climbs. Maybe to get me back for Hicks - the climb where my heart nearly exploded. It's one of the few times I felt like my heart was going to give out before my legs. Good times! :)
Oh yeah. On the way up Kennedy this old guy was on the side of the hill trying to get a beer can unstuck from a tree branch. He asked us for help. Personally I didn't think it was work tumbling down the side of the sheer hillside to get the can but we helped him. Even with that lengthy stop, I managed a 2nd best time. Pretty sure it would've been a PR.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
