Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Another cold day today. The weather was cold for the first 10 minutes but I was warmed up by the time I reached the top of the descent. I wore arms, knees, and one base layer. It was more than enough to keep me warm through out the ride. I think I pushed a little more than usual for the first 10 minutes as I wanted to get warmed up ASAP. I rode the downhill by soft-pedaling and getting out of the saddle over the risers. I was warm and comfortable the entire way to the Keene basin. The return trip was more or less the same approach as usual. I felt pretty good most of the way. I ended up removing my knee warmers at the Caesar Chaves center. I was actually a bit hot and had to undo my jersey zipper to let in some air. That seemed to be just enough to keep my core temperature where it needed it to be. I kept my arm warmers on, although, I think I could have removed them and still remain comfortable. My concentration today was average at best. I was constantly having to nudge myself to get my focus back. Not a real good day for concentration. Balance was good. I felt like I was on top of the pedals evenly, for most of the ride. Ailments were mostly none. Gear is working well, some mystery noises, but so minute that I had to listen real carefully. Again, probably a bit of lube here and there can fix that problem. Other notes, the Charity App didn't work today. It didn't log the miles. Will try again next time.
One last note, the metrics are off. The trip time should have been around 1:10 hrs. I forgot to stop the timer at the end of the ride.
