Houghton to Kersbrook and return delivered a enjoyable summer ride. Seven riders headed off into a pleasantly cool day, topping out at 19°C. Cloud cover kept things comfortable, with only a few spits of moisture before the sun made its appearance just after coffee in Kersbrook. The min feature of the day was a generous helping of single-track courtesy of Kay H . About 6km of very enjoyable riding that kept our attention sharp. Along the way we negotiated gates, cows, llamas, more gates, and some impressively snakey long grass, all part of the entertainment package.
Coffee at the new Kersbrook Hill winery café, was excellent and the coffee and cake deal for $10.60 was good.

A relaxed, fun-filled Hills ride with great company, good surfaces, and just enough obstacles to keep things interesting.
