The road started out alright, enough packed gravel to cruise, many undulations though and some loose rock, the road becomes rougher as you approach the ocean, on the first point hitting the water a small fishing village, fishing season runs from september to February, the fishermen may only be there then, we met enrique who gave us wifi 4 bottles of water and a smile in his swaggy fisherman fit. The road was washed out here, we pedalled on the sand to find the road again that hugs the coast. Sandy and rocky road from here, some sections with river rock some sections more hard packed. The road continues to undulate jumping from coast to inland, climbing and dropping the hills, we came across a man in a truck camping at one of the most northern surf breaks of the seven sisters. Continued on to a nicely packed inland section that soon became loose sand. Heavy rains in weeks prior must have affected the erosion of the road. Slogged on slowly as my bum rash ached and we wrestled with rocky roads. Came upon a newly developed couple of sweet cottages at this little beach, abandoned sail boat in the water out front, birds have taken full advantage.
