Charles Kyle wrote I did not met my goal of a HR between 145-155. I could not get the heart rate up on the computrainer.
I had to use the computrainer today because I loaned my cycleops to one of the guys who showed up to ride in my garage. Therefore, the first hour was worthless. Here are some of the issues I found with the Computrainer (CT):
1.) As I began to pedal the "tension" would get easier as my cadence increased. I would have to have a cadence in the upper 90s to get the power to stablize in the 170 watt range. So I would be on the bike, wattage 170, cadence 98, speed 29mph and gear 53/15. So these power numbers doesn't make sense at all.
2.) As I go into RBI, when the cadence slows to 80 or so the power then shot up to 210. So my actualy power during RBI was greater than that during the MS.
Finally, after one hour, I abandoned the CT and got back on the old reliable cycleops and was able to make the best of an otherwise screwed.
I am also VERY upset and concerned with my weight. I have been increasing but not sure why. THe Body% has increased a little too. So I am going to have to actively focus to bring this down. Boith physically and mentally. ***

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
