#5611 Estrella - Rainbow Valley - Verrado

Got a bit confused at the start and skipped the first control, so I ended up starting the ride in a strange place. The start was just after the 1st control, so I had to ride past the end and onto the 1st control when finishing the ride.

Fun COLD morning to ride.

Nothing really unusual about the ride. Saw a big hawk perched up on a highline pole while heading west on Beloat. I did take a different way going south through Verrado by using the sidewalk at mile 41.9 off of Sunrise. That was nice, but do NOT suggest to do it all the time.

Oh, I also used Broadway to go west a bit over to Rainbow. That seemed to work ok.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
