Another trip to the coast, this time to Tillamook. Did not do the Big Loop this time. Rode up the Trask River then back into Tillamook and then a short out-and-back on Bayocean Rd toward Cape Mears. Started from the Tillamook Fairgrounds. Construction continues at Tillamook Bay Community College. The first couple miles were east on 3rd and then onto Trask River Rd. Continued on Trask River Rd until the pavement ended, at mile 14.5. Beautiful ride along the river, but A LOT of rollers. Nearly 1000 feet elevation gain to the bridge at the end of the pavement. Headwind for the first 7 or so miles then minimal wind deeper up the drainage. The return ride to Tillamook was much easier due to the downhills and tailwind. Stopped at the Tillamook Skate Park (mile 30) for a short rest stop then continued another 5 miles or so on Highway 131 and Bayocean Rd. Stopped at MP 4 then returned into town. Much cooler along Bayocean Rd due to shading and no wind. Temp generally in the low 50s. Finished via the 12th street loop past the High School and Marolf Loop Rd.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
