2019-06-21 Sunriver Loop

A cool first day of summer bike ride starting from home with Paul, Mark, & Dale. We biked up Century Drive where we left Mark & Dale at the Sunriver turnoff (NF 45). Paul & I swooshed down off the road to Mt Bachelor in 40+ degree temps hoping to reach warmer levels by the time we made it to Sunriver & lunch. We had a hefty lunch at "Belly Burgers & Brew " then continued through Sunriver resort to the Lava Butte Center then onto Hiway 97 toward Bend. The temperatures did finally warm up to the 50s then low 60s by the end of the ride. Unfortunately we had some head wind on our way home. It's a fun ride but more pleasant when the weather is warmer.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
