Paul Douglas FP Fat Bike Snow Ride 2-03-26

Farley 9.6. Mostly sunny, cold - 18 degrees at the start, got up to 27 by ride's end, Northerly winds up to 6 or 7 mph. I got an early start around 8:35, parked at Huntington Plaza off Algonquin Rd, North of Paul Douglas FP.

I popped over to the East trails and decided to ride the upper Orange loop. Trail was in good shape and didn't have any issues with traction. Crossed back over to the West trails and followed the complete TU/TH/SA route then took the paved (snow covered) trail back up to Huntington Plaza.

1 other rider out that I saw several times, 6 deer and only one hiker out. Really good ride of 2-1/2 hours and 16.5 miles, one of my longer snow rides this season, at least on singletrack.

Stopped at The Assembly for lunch.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
