Amarello Hotel Praia Santo Andre, Tapestry Collection by Hilton (Costa de Santo André). Brand new hotel in easy reach of the lagoon and beautiful beach. Wonderful off season base, I can imagine the roof top swimming pool and terrace being very popular in the summer. Great comms and customer service. Restaurant and bar fantastic. Bike left locked to the railing outside but in view of reception.

In Lisbon: Turim Terreiro do Paço Hotel

Excellent location, rooms, bar and customer service. Crucially, you can store your bike here inside ready for pick up at the end of your tour - you can disassemble your bike at reception, there's no need to 'strip down' outside on the busy street. Not many, if any, city centre hotels allow this. Airport transfer arranged as well, great value.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
