Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The forecast had called for rain…you can see in the pics how correct that was. 😂 Hourly forecast also said 45 degrees with a real feel of 36…pretty sure it was 55 with a real feel of 50: I was in fleece leggings and a thin wool shirt and got hot enough I wished I was in shorts and a short sleeve shirt! It was just lovely out.
Originally wanted to do this in EC but partner was on call today so we stayed close to home.
Legs felt great throughout despite the bike ride yesterday, which I’m thrilled about! QL is fine today too, which is also a relief. I’m REALLY proud of my cadence here: this was a low watt workout in distance blocks so I had to really concentrate on keeping steps light and quick despite the slower pace. It’s the first time I’ve truly nailed low watts with high cadence: normally high cadence = higher watts automatically: my running is becoming more efficient!!
My running form has completely changed over the course of the last 6 months. The way I move and how I feel while moving is very different, in the best way possible.
The one catch today was that I felt inexplicably out of breath several times throughout the run (in an asthmatic sort of way): the redbuds are starting to bloom and the grass is definitely getting greener so I think it’s allergies starting to act up. Starting back up on Flonase and Zyrtec beginning today!
It was a great run. 7/10 effort, 10/10 lovely.
Also: NICE wheels!!!!!
