The weather was nice in Dublin, Jennifer said , but it was not in transit . I thought there was hope as the sun seemed to be awakeining at about 11AM but it quickly went asleep again . I ended up on the wrong side of the Canal which was tarmaced but it was fairly rough and narrow. And of course I could not get across as there was no bridge for miles . I went by the momento to the girl who was attacked and murdered . Very disturbing and upsetting . But still life must go on . Anyway it was a lovely cycle , even though it was cold , and I was really on country roads mostly , but then when I had something to eat in Edenderry , the road from there to Enfield was absolutely crap to cycle on , and very dangerous , and noisy with all the cars and lorries . But apart from that it was a great cycle . I just got the 15.23 train from Enfield . I arrived about 2 mins later than 15.23 and the next one was at 17.23 , so 2 hours waiting , a not very exiting prospect , but then I remembered some fella told me that trains are sometimes not accurate in their timing , so I decided to go to the station. So at about 15.26 the train arrives and I got on . So talk about the luck of God . And I was home at 5PM so I was very lucky .
