Titled after the third track on Cracker's 1996 album, "The Golden Age", this pedal is Trek #3 of the TGA series. Arbitrarily added 2.5 miles onto yesterday's trek by getting down Orcutt a little further (boomeranging at the southernmost Varian Circle ingress) and going up and over a small hill on Righetti to its most likely endpoint: The two No Trespassing/Private Road signs are pretty good indicators that strangers, even of the polite cycling variety, ain't welcome. What's a little disturbing to me, personally, is that 40 years ago, I was driving those same roads to high school classmates' homes quite often; I would really like to seek permission to pedal up Coyote Creek and get a gander at what's changed 4 decades later.
