Canby Legacy Park Loop

First 70-degree day of the year. This is the Canby Legacy Park 40-mile route. I chose to start from Ackerman School. The first 11.25 miles is a nice warm-up for the lengthy climbing that follows. First long climb is on Thomas Rd to the Soda Springs Rd turn. Another long climb on Soda Springs Rd to Wildcat Rd. One more short, steep climb on Wildcat Rd then it is mostly downhill for the 4.5 miles to Marquam. There are a couple steep rollers to deal with, though. Not expecting so much wind. South to southwest to 10 mph with gusts 15-20 mph. Enjoyed the tailwind on Kropf Rd, then had to deal with crosswind on Monte Cristo Rd. The final 9 miles was mostly tailwind.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
