Natchez Trace 50, Out and Back

From the parking lot at mile marker 440 to the bridge over TN highway 7 and back. Strong southerly wind gusts made the first 25 miles a grind, but the downhill sections were fast on the return with the wind at my back - in fact, I didn’t even pedal going downhill from MM 424 at the Tennessee Valley divide to 425 at Burns Branch. Lots of pollen in the wind made my nose run and eyes water even with allergy medicine. This route had convenient bathroom breaks at Garrison Creek in both directions.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
