Now that things have dried out and freeze-thaw is in the rear view mirror (FINALLY), today was a good time to ride the big 'hood loop. Trails are about the best possible -- firm, not dusty, plenty of grip, no mud and streams are not high. Legs and cardio felt great (um, maybe the Singulaire helped?). More pavement than preferred because of the stretch along MD200 and MD115 on a paved trail, but wasn't sure doing the full 22 or so was a good idea this early in the year. Probably could have done it though, in hindsight. Stopped for about 5 minutes at 4.5 to partially clear a big limb off the trail. Used the pocket saw to get the tangle down to one bigger piece you could step over (and maybe ride if you don't mind it moving). Rest of the ride uneventful. Lovely day.
