A mighty tough climb from Dron turns to summit overlooking M90. Even couple of local cyclists remarked on it. For me, more of a lung buster than legs. Missed left turn off A912 so diverted to Strathmiglo on NCN1 after negotiating dreadful junction in Gateside. Costa express in Morrison Daily sufficed while replanned route. Bus shelter again! Headed back to planned route towards Abernethy. Proved to be a very pleasant road, in good condition, light traffic only and long but steady-away gradients. Quite European. Long descent from summit down Abernethy Glen. Had to be careful of driveways off the very steep part - the equivalent of the brutal M90 climb earlier. Substantial prawn sarnie for lunch in The Nook Abernethy. Glad to see it was busy. Gentle ride back via Bridge of Earn Co-op. Then final pull up to Ardargie. Weather really nice today. Sunny, windy not too bothersome if a little chilly. Good finale to the trip. Pity I can't stay longer.
