Atwood Park MTB Ride 4-21-26

Pivot Trail 429. Mostly sunny with some high clouds, fairly warm, mid to high 50's at the start, into the high 60s at the finish, SW winds @ 14 mph with gusts @ 21 mph at the finish, got up to as high as 17 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Trails still in excellent condition, tacky and grippy but no mud at all today.

I saw 2 other riders out on the trail, 5-6 cars at the trailhead at the finish. All the trails open except the Marsh West end. Founders Loop was open today and I did 4 trips around. 3 trips around Big Wheel and 1-1/2 trips around the North Blue trails. Legs felt pretty good and I rode at a faster pace than Sunday.

Stopped at Pub 64 in Sycamore for a salad on the way home.
