2019-07-26 Sea level-Fuji 5th station-Sea level in the rainy season

180 km with 2842 m of elevation gain. The return half was entirely in the rain (and after dark), the first half had rain/drizzle on and off. It was quite hot (30-34 C) from the start to Kagosaka Toge (before Yamanakako). Yamanakako had moderate temperatures (22-24 C). I've previously done this challenge with Tokyo/Setagaya as the start and Odawara as the finish on my Bike Friday. This time I moved both start and finish to Shin-Matsuda so I could use my Elephant NFE, which I transported by car. I would say the first half was slightly easier than riding via Doshi michi, but the return in a rainy night with two big long descents was some experience.
