A warm and dry day, the first in a long while.We had a good turnout with one person on travel giiving us 16 riders plus the leader (me). However,a short way into the ride one bike had a mechanical malfunction and its rider headed back to the start. Later on another rider experienced a flat that he was unable to repair and had to be sagged by his spouse at the end of the ride. The route was a good one with mostly pleasant roads (some potholed) and varied scenery. The modest hills and occasional headwinds provided a decent workout without too much pain and suffering. Thanks to Everett for sweeping and props to the arrowers, whe got into the mode of knowing when to voluneer without being asked. That's a big help.
