Puglia day 8: Lecce loop

This morning, I joined Leroy and Mel for a ride to the ghost, er, beach towns of Torre Chianca and Frigole and back again. One could describe the route (like many here in Italy) as the part of Colossal Cave where "You Are In a Maze of Twisty Little Passages, All Different". We were happy to see stretches of road that were longer than 3km that did not require any navigation. Don't get me going on the old city.
The weather was lovely, and we had little traffic for the most part. The beach towns were deserted. I would not want to be here in the height of the summer season.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
