I thought this would be a hard ride and it was. I was trying to make it to the other side of the snow block in the Lassen park. Didn’t help that I got off track at the beginning and wasted a lot of time. Most of this was off-road and very bumpy even though the road was mostly drivable it made for a slow go. I didn’t make it to the point of the park I was shooting for because I just ran out of time so I had to return. I had a drop dead turnaround time of 4pm and I hit it. I wanted to make sure I made it back before dark. I brought three bottles of water and went through them all about the halfway point. But I planned ahead and brought a water filter and was able to fill it up at the turnaround point in a mountain stream.
