Lovely day for a ride. Did a little exploring in the lanes north-west of Whitchurch. First time we'd met at the George & Dragon. I had taken Txiki today as i was not sure how well I would manage after Tuesday's exertions. It did give me the opportunity to explore on my way to the pub. Near Whitchurch I caught up with Peter who is also an 85 year old but he was man enough to ride his road bike! We rode together through Whitchurch before I took the high road whilst he went the low road and he was in the pub afore me. Nice pub but i found the food a little disappointing. No real bar meals. I had a sandwich which was OK but there was no salad or other accompaniment similar to we get elsewhere. Reasonable number of riders in attendance.
