Lovely evening for a scenic ride on the Tri-Community Greenway and along Mystic Lakes. But not a planned ride...
The Check Charging System and Battery light came on the dashboard of my minivan. With a back seat full of BJs groceries, I stupidly turned off my engine (while 4 cars back from a red light). Not enough juice to restart the engine! F*ck! Light turned green; I was blocking the road. Turned on my hazards, and waved all the traffic around me. A nice man & a cop showed up and helped push my minivan to the curb. [TYVM!] Cop stayed behind my car with his blue lights to keep traffic moving. He also called a tow truck because AAA wait was 60 min. In the meantime, John & Hunter arrived and we transferred the groceries. I took my bike & rack off before minivan got towed [thankfully on a flatbed] to BP gas & service station (317 Montvale Ave, Woburn). John followed tow truck by car. I followed on bike [wearing a dress, sandals, and no helmet at rush hour]. See start of mapping. After we exchanged contact info & payed for tow, John drove home. I biked. Got home and found my car key in my bike bag; Realized I never left it at BP! F*ck!!!!! Gotta go back in the morning!
