Rain Dodger

Stong wind from the south, no rain in the sky at the start ... but on the approach back to the city at Mile 18 or so, there was clearly a big ol storm to the north. Then across Memorial Bridge (mile 21-22) it was very dark and a cool gusty wind coming from the north. No matter, the route was south, and now the wind was outta the north, so big ol tailwind 24-25, then big ol headwind 25 to 26 and got to see some jets get waved off and have to do a go-round because the wind had changed 180 degrees. Also some sprinkles about 26, which soon stopped... rest of the ride was on wet/dry pavement, depending on where the rain fell.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
