N'Emonda. Gorgeous early Summer day. Bright and mostly sunny with some beautiful high clouds, cool but comfortable with temps in the mid 60's up to low 70's, Westerly winds 7-8 mph with gusts up to 15 mph. 9 am roll time from Kaneland High School, rode with SteveO and Greg for the first time in a while but it felt like old times rather quickly. A spirited ride at times, tough for me as I don't ride that fast too often these days. Quick stop at the Marathon in Dekalb for a breather and a break from the wind. After starting up again I had a flat. Able to pump up and the sealant did it's job so was able to make it back to the HS without putting in a tube. The ride on Keslinger from IL-23 was an absolute blast, most of it in the low to mid 20's, trading pulls the whole way. Stopped at The Pub in Maple Park for a pop and a burger.
