Humid Sunday Schaeffer Loop

The heat continues to ease off and so a 9am start and a big loop of the Schaeffer park was the right call.

We had hoped that the reports we'd read of trailwork being done at Schaeffer meant trimming and clipping but alas, it was not to be. Several areas were QUITE overgrown and some blood was donated to the thorn gods.

Body held up fine even after the longer roadie ride the previous day, so felt pretty good about that.

Enjoyed the semi-reverse Willys Loop (4.7 to 5.9) since different is always better at a place like this. That section, though, clearly not ridden much and as-yet unclipped, untrimmed.
