Where do I start? An epic day in the saddle for sure. Big group as we headed south along Springwater towards the Gresham Fairview Trail. Bombed down Stark Street and the group was vibing by now. We had a few friends who had never rode a century before!! A couple hadn’t rode one in over a decade! And another homie who has lived here for 17 years had never rode out on Old Highway 30!! Insane! Strong and fast group and when we got to the slide we took photos and followed the trail just to the left of the path that took us to a cliff face to climb up before getting back on the trail and then down to Cascade Locks. We crossed over Bridge of the Gods and then came back into town to get food and ate and rested. We weren’t as lively on the way back. Hottest part of the day and some homies cooked themselves heading out. It totally happens and we stayed together till we get to Fairview Gresham Trail to Springwater Corridor and lost Brad. People had been peacing out more since we got into town and right after the exit to 17th Tir showed up on a different bike to meet us at Vera. We did it! We finished! Cowabunga!!
