Roughly 18 riders from CTC and LEW (Lake Erie Wheelers) gathered before sunrise for the 100 mile TASSLE (Tour Along the Southern Shore of Lake Erie) starting from Lakewood Park. 22 riders in total rode TASSLE -- this includes the 50 mile and 100K riders. Eight bikes and nine riders in the B group.
Partly cloudy with a high of about 87F. The roads were all pretty good except the first (and last) 3-4 miles. Traffic was light until around the Lorain power plant. We kept the group cohesive, slowing as needed if someone needed it. Some of us stopped at Angelo’s in Lakewood for libation and food after the ride.
Speaking for the B group, we had a great time! Kudos to Kim Bickle for driving SAG and providing water and snacks! Mega kudos to Brian Speck for creating and vetting the route!

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
