I might have caught a cold virus, since my sinuses were congested overnight, but after a huge breakfast and çai samovar for two, I feel better. Well, we’ll see if it comes back. But I seriously overate and I was burping and felt queasy on the very slow (yavaş) first climb. Not shown in the photo is the bread. Also, they brought some French toast later. I took most of the French fries and half of the bread to-go. I also had Turkish coffee. It was 1,500 Turkish Lira, or $31.50. I guess it was a pretty fancy place; the silverware was provided in a sealed plastic covering. EDIT: On the ride into Sinop, I passed by a house with a group of people playing music and dancing. Bass drums and some kind of bagpipes. I loved it! I’m in the larger town of Sinop now; the air is humid and my clothes would not dry out. My host says it’s humid because there is ocean on 3 sides. We’ll see; I have a feeling it’ll stay humid as I continue east into the area that produces Turkish tea.
