Danger! Mega bike tourer high with danger of catastrophic crash down! Each of our tour stops have been amazing, yesterday stayed in a spa town created by the tsars in 1826 with an old castle, music festivals and beautiful wooden houses. Each interaction at the store or bus stop a little bliss. BUT: because countries like Estonia are so thinly populated, there are not many country roads and biking 15 or 20 miles on the same road just looking at the same trees and the same forest can get a bit boring. But today was a gift: we took small country roads (they are not many of them in Estonia), saw beautiful small villages including the remnants of a Swedish village later destroyed by the Soviets & collectivization, bus stops with mini libraries and tatched straw roofs , and just crowned everything by arriving at the micro mini store in Durhami, where we got a delicious liter of kefir and shared it in the room of Gretchen & and her roommate. For me, this is just bliss to the ninth potency -- better calm down a bit so that the crash is not so hard!
