Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

1030 - Meet up at Melson's Funeral Chapel, 32013 Long Neck Rd
(Encourage riders to park in the adjacent Long Neck UM Church lot).

1045 - Push off. Pace 14-15mph.

1130ish - Return to Melson Funeral Chapel to pay respects to Jay, Michele, and their loved ones.

1230 - Jay's Celebration of Life service, Melson Funeral Chapel. Please bring photos of Jay.

Route/Ride Details:
Front & Rear Lights mandatory.
Helmet mandatory.
Excellent bicycle handling skills and defensive bicycle commuting skills necessary.

*Use EXTREME caution and alertness on Route 24. Bicycle Lane/Shoulder in place but can be junky with gravel and debris. CAUTION: Several instances on 24 where the bicycle lane also becomes a right passing lane for vehicles. Construction in new developments on Angola road may have road crews with flaggers. Use courtesy when riding through housing development.*

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
