ARNAL Bike-n-Boat to Nahant Aborted

Beautiful Saturday morning ride with John. Planned to bike from home all the way to Nahant Beach for lunch at The Tides then take the Lynn Ferry back to Boston. BUT... A boy going waaaay too fast on a heavy electric motor bike took the curve waaaay too wide into my lane, I swerved but lost traction on the Trex boardwalk (behind Old Navy in Everett), skidded a few feet, and fell over. [I was fine; just pissed!!!] Then John noticed his front tire was completely flat. After fixing his flat & a visit to Target, we headed back. Stopped at Dunkin' in Arlington (rather than the intended one in Malden). No ferry ride today, but we still logged 20 miles. :-)

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
