Starting from La Gravière, the route drops towards Chevannes before climbing steadily west through Les Carges and onto the higher ground around Les Chaignots. From there, it sweeps south through Le Verne and Montot, combining quiet lanes, rural tracks and some lovely views across the rolling countryside. The loop continues through Les Pierres and Les Ducs before reaching its highest and most remote-feeling section around Champcroux. After passing La Verne aux Loups, the return heads north through Le Pas des Places, Le Champ and the village of Vérosvres. A final run through Chevannes leads into the last climb back to La Gravière. At just under 19.5 kilometres, it is a varied and rewarding ride with fast descents, testing climbs, peaceful hamlets and plenty of excellent country tracks.
