26.77mi Nickel Plate Trail South From 400S to Kokomo w/Ed on A Beautiful Friday Morning YTD Combined 3,541mi Miles to 5,000 ...

I needed help at my Dad's house, so Ed went with me to Peru IN. We then rode the southern part of the Nickel Plate Trail starting at County Road 400S and went 14 miles south to the first Kokomo Trailhead at Highway 931. It was a beautiful day for a leisurely ride! We had an extra special treat because the Air Force Thunderbirds were practicing for the Air And Space Expo at Grissom ARB! One pass was so low, loud and fast it startled Ed and I! We were so pumped to witness the spectacle that we are going back to my Dad and Stepmom's house to watch the show from their front yard! What a great addition to the ride! Stay safe everyone!
