10-20-2019 Santos 41 mile ride

10-20-2019 Santos 41 miles East Trail Head and all the way to West Trail Head and Back.

George had a vision to ride Santos East to West and back. I was game so started out at dawn with Kathy and Tim...due to time Kathy and Tim turned around at Land Bridge..George and I set out to the Western trail head. George parked his car at 49th street trail head for a refueling spot.. All was uneventful till George and a wet bridge tangled and the bridge won. Banged up hip and 6 stitches was all...that was was at apx mile 18...what a trooper road he rode another few more miles to trail head to clean out the wound, then rode 20 miles back to the truck...George is MY HERO!!!! I had small mishap with a loop tree root...

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
