6th March

What a lovely day for a bike ride, and I had a marvellous days potter. I used to cycle this ride and play a game with myself of lets see if I can ride the 62.5 miles of the circuit in less than 6hrs with stops. Today I cycled it in 6hrs 17 mins, that's 5hrs 25 mins cycling the rest of the time was in the Black Cat cafe. My garmin says 1,945m climbing so pleased with that. Now for a mega quick bath as Mark is taking me out for dinner in Spoons. Oh the rest of the distance/time is from home and back to the start, plus a recovery coffee in Bishop Cleeves.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
