Yuma Palms to Martinez Lake

Some of the roads around here are pretty rough including long segment on the Imperial Dam Road which I have ridden twice. While I was in the bike shop on our last visit I asked about that and one recommendation was to take 95 up to Martinez Lake which I did today. Parked the truck early in front of the Yogurt shop. Winds weren't bad early but on the return trip they came up and slowed me down. Wasn't sure I had the energy to finish this one but stopped a couple of extra times late for rest and got it under my belt. Once I left 95 it was a nice climb to a crest then a glide down to the Lake. Climbing back out was a little tougher into the wind.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
