The most difficult section is on Currie Road between about 15 and 20km before joining onto Two Sticks Road. This area is quite steep (450 m rise over 5 km) with some climbs on the trail with loose rock surfaces typical of the Mt Coree area, may be some walking depending on road condition. On the upside this area contains some of the most picturesque country as the track climbs through tall stands of gum forest into the Brindabella Park around the cool shaded slopes on the south eastern slopes of Mt Coree.
At about 20 km into the ride the trail joins Two Sticks Road. This trail is also rocky in places and is undulating mostly downhill covering 22 km back to where it intersects with Mountain Creek road. One short section towards the end, in back blocks farming country, has some very deep ruts which needs careful negotiation. The last 5 km is along Mountain Creek road and Uriarra road back to Uriarra Homestead is relatively flat.
