Well I made the 100 mile mark which was my goal, but things were a little quirky getting there, we got lost and rode 9 miles out of our way, which was fine until I hit the 96 mile mark and my legs were cramping like crazy. I did everything I could, I think I drank enough fluids, pickle juice, Monster energy big cans, Scratch labs in my water bottles (2) and my 70 oz Camel Back, and a couple of Pepsis, all of these were refilled numerous times. As I said I was cramping pretty bad so I told the others to go on that I was going to stop and try to walk it out. About 5 minutes after I stopped, David from Bike Sag came by and offered me a ride, how could I refuse so I told him to take me about 4 miles from the finish line and drop me off, all I wanted was for my garmin to tell me I rode 100+ miles and it did and I did. It will be another 30 years before I do another century, and I will be 104 years old and most likly 6 feet under pushing up daisies. So don't hold your breath for my next one
