This was supposed to be a Zone 2 HR ride and it was for the first 1/3rd of the ride. I looked down and I was at Zone 3.8, I was riding in to a strong head wind 15-17 mph with gust in the mid to upper 20's from the start. My average was 16 mph so I decided to keep it in zone 3 to pick up the pace some. I made a turn and had a side wind so I decided to make the best of it in an attempt to get may average speed up, now I was in Zone 4. Not feeling bad and starting to feel some of my old self coming back! My back started to hurt but I stuck with it doing a lot of standing on hills and into a strong head winds to ease some of the pressures off my back. I was not able to ride my 21,19 or 17 gears as they are over stretched. So that left me with 23, 16, 15, & 14. Was not able to shift into 13 &12. The ride was good and I felt good about it.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
