Today I was back in the saddle to explore the area and visit Corcovado national park. Very hot and humid day. I used every river crossing as an opportunity to refresh. Once I reached the park entrance, I did some hiking through the jungle.
Corcovado is the last preserved virgin rainforest (primary forest with trees over 100 years old and 50m tall) in the whole Central America.
I biked around to try to enter at San Pedrito entrance and after some brutal jungle dirt biking, once single track became hiking path, I had to give up. Doesn't matter as the ride was treat for itself.
Once I got out of jungle, refreshment at the Rincon beach was reward.
On the way back I used those river crossings to wash all the mud from the bike.
Cold beer will top-up this already great day.
