SPNHF Forest Reservation Challenge: Buxton Forest / Elizabeth Simons Preserve

The loop begins and ends at the society for protection of NH Forests Buxton Forest / Elizabeth Simons Preserve in Weare, NH on Flanders Memorial Road. Riding counter clockwise. The first millstone plaque details the naming of the road. Stop off a bit at Perkins Pond. (You could, and perhaps should, avoid a segment of 149/114 here by riding the loop further south in this stretch....) Sticking to the plan, you'll get to see the next millstones of the First Church, and the RIOT! Not to mention the bears. A bit off to the side, before a turn off 114, is a local tavern. Check out the 1.4 mile climb. And the nice stream afterward. Rt 77 has it's Old Coach. And, in the end, Weare you are.
