I started out to do a zone 1 and easy zone 2 HR/Power ride. the first 15 miles was all zone 1, Hit some hills and I went into zone 2 then Mr. Wind started to play so I was into zone 2. I hit the 15 mile stretch of long gradual rises and as it would be Mr. Wind decides to play. Now I am in deep in zone 2. About 1/2 ways into this section Mr. Wind got tired of me and it was his buddy's turn to punish me, Mr. Rain poured on me for about 9 miles then gave up. I was debating whether to cut the ride short and wait for the rain to pass and go back out to finish the ride. I got lucky so I kept going on my ride. Mr. Wind wasn't finished with me yet, he stayed with me the rest of the ride. He wasn't terrible but didn't make the ride easy. I was trying to give my legs a chance to fully recover. I was into zone 3 for more time than I wanted to be. My legs did let me know when I was pushing too much power. I would back off as soon as I got the message. I am very happy I got this ride in, it was a good workout!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
