2020-03-31 7 Cataracts Mt Lemmon

Paul & I cut our Tuesday ride up Mt Lemmon short today due to some long hours of yard work we put in earlier this week. It was still good to get out into the fresh air and exercise on our bikes. We saw a number of like-minded bikers on the mountain riding either solo or in pairs mindful of social distancing from each other. It was good to see Marge, Patty, Charlie, Melinda, Yvette, and Lonnie at various stages of the route. 33.5 miles, elevation gain 3,071 ft, max speed 40.1 mph, average temp mid-70s.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
