Replaced the rim, nipples, and most of the spokes on my Mavic/Shimano wheel. Dish/True based on my frame, not a real stand. Lateral is good, but the wheel is just very slightly oval (about 2mm), and I could feel it as a wobble between 14mph and 19mph. Also, the cassette isn't clamped down as snug as before, so in gears 2 and 3, I could hear just a tiny bit of chain catch.
I realized that the ride through the paths behind AMC go about 5 houses from one of Max's friends, so I looped through that neighborhood a little instead of staying on the trail. Road is faster anyway. I started to feel my back just a little by the time I got to Chin Chapel. I decide to still go up to Dixon, instead of winding through trails and backstreets. It was good.
Even with stop signs, stop lights, trails, intersections, etc (aka a short, close ride), average was over 14mph. I'm pretty tired, and when sitting properly, I only feel some tightness in my shoulders, and overall endurance (heart, lungs, diaphragm) complaining. We'll see if I feel back to normal by Tuesday, and if so, I'll be happy with spine progress so far.
Spine has been feeling weird lately, ever since some twisting exercises. It took a week to feel normal again, but normal is diffent than normal before. Basically, just getting used to what "normal" is, while my back continues its slow recovery for the last part (months-years). I want to baby it where necessary, but I want to keep it active as much as possible too.
