I really liked this course. There was a little bit of every type of road surface (smooth/loose gravel, smooth/choppy pavement). I only planned on one loop but the cloud cover stuck around so it wasn't as hot as it could have been. Luckily, there was water and snacks at the start so I could refill and go back out. The course was fast and well marked but I did manage to miss one turn. I was paying attention to what cars were doing in front of me and missed the sign. Luckily, I had the route on my GPS so it alerted me before I got too far. The second lap hurt more than the first as the winds picked up and it warmed up a bit more. I needed to stop for a few minutes halfway through it (yes, I rode 34 miles without stopping on the first lap) and then ran out of water with 10 miles to go. Luckily, there was a truck stop on the route so I was able to get some Gatorade. Once I made it back, I hit the cooler and passed on the beer for a nice cold Diet Coke! As I was leaving, the first 100-miler was rolling in. Glad he didn't lap me!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
